Think we have our next Elliot Anderson in terms of performance levels.
Absolutely faultless.
Aerially, didn’t lose one duel. Reads the game and covers wide area.
Drops off and gets his body between ball and player but when he wants to play on the front foot he wins everything.
His execution on some of his passes can be worked on but his choice and range passing is outstanding.
What a top top player

Good display. Agree with your assessment of his performance today. Elegant on the ball, played with a confidence and assuredness which belies his years and looks a Rolls Royce of a defender. Very promising. Well done Tristán 👏

What a top top player He played well overall, but also played their player in for a one on one, but his teammate got him out of trouble. Impressive league debut, but it wasn't faultless. If they scored that chance and we lost, some of our fans would have been saying he was rubbish (not me as I look at the overall picture, but you know done of our fans only see the mistakes😂. Once Wilson is fit, which two do we start, if we are playing a back 4?? Nice problem to have. |

Great partner for Taylor, who played in his best position. When Wilson is fit I will be gutted if Taylor is dropped to make way, but I suppose with another mid week game we may see some rotation in the next 2 games

When Wilson is fit I will be gutted if Taylor is dropped to make way, but I suppose with another mid week game we may see some rotation in the next 2 games It will be great to have the option to rest players, now that we have choices to do so. It's a long season and the defenders are bound to need a break at times. |

Also was very good at blatent pushes and fouls (like the ones on Coburn last season) but got away with them.
Some players get a dirty reputation and mud sticks, Collins diving etc, but Crama hopefully can do a bit of the dark arts and we can get away with it - for once.
Got to say a good performance from the ref IMO. Nasty mid air attempt to stick his leg into the defender by big John got howls of derision from the terraces, but he knew what he was doing and could have easily been a yellow.

Let’s hope Crama and Taylor stay fit and build a great partnership
Pirate maybe right and a back 3 of those 2 and Wilson could mean a much bettter season for us defensively. Couldn’t be much worse than last year I guess!
