Great Second half from both sides .... Cracking !
Papers over the cracks a little bit - At least two maybe three not up to par yet and I still think we need a CDM as Finley is not the answer.
Wonder if we might focus effort on a Striker as well.
Delighted tonight for Luke Mc - he ran straight to JB to celebrate which tells you a lot about our Gaffers man management.

3 of the ‘top teams’ in this division and we’ve made them all look very average. Rode our luck at times but so did they! I think Bolton are going to water it this year but no reason we can't spoil the party in the top 6. |

Wow. What a win. McCormick so deserves that, I’m almost as happy that he got it as I am that we won! Me too - I hope that will be a turning point for Macca, and we see the player we had before. |

Fantastic finish to the game, so pleased for McCormick and what a well taken goal as well. Ironically I think thats probably the worst we've played so far, although at 1-0 up we should have killed the game off with some of the chances we missed. We were sloppy at times really the chances they had were mostly from our mistakes but we kept going, lovely to ram Curbisleys words back down his throat !!
Well done to those that travelled superb turnout on a Tues night

Great result, we were wasteful and not clinical enough, and thought our keeper should have saved their goal,but we kept plugging away and great skill for the goal well done cool hand Luke!
If we get Bogarde back we will make top 6!

Was asked if rovers could break into the top 6 this season after the other guy in the studio had been very complimentary of us. Said no based on us being a small club. Said the big boys will be up there not us and that Charlton need to be winning games against teams like us. 🤣🤣 He always has been a prick, up there with Pardew.,such a great Manager, he’s been unemployed for years, Would have suited 82 back in the day. |

Wish I was going to Cambridge on Saturday! I’m thinking of driving from Dorset, Is it pay on the day? Seems like general sale is not until Friday but I won’t be able to get them from Bristol? Anyway what a win. This squad is shaping up nicely. Wilson and Beefy going to find it hard to get in at this rate! Still need a DCM and possibly a striker but we have options all over the park! UTG |

Pity Sinclair missed and then Marquis as that turned the game.
Vale not strong enough on that showing but will learn quickly im sure with JB toughing him up.
Pity we didn’t hold on v Portsmouth and Pompey to achieve wins. No one can complain with being unbeaten after the first 3 games against those teams though.
Onto Cambridge and hopefully another 3 points

You can tell that this squad hasn't fully clicked yet and yet we are unbeaten after a very difficult first three matches.

Should have scored for sure, but then could say that about most of our forwards so far! |
