Wish I was going to Cambridge on Saturday! I’m thinking of driving from Dorset, Is it pay on the day? Seems like general sale is not until Friday but I won’t be able to get them from Bristol? Anyway what a win. This squad is shaping up nicely. Wilson and Beefy going to find it hard to get in at this rate! Still need a DCM and possibly a striker but we have options all over the park! Great result. Frustratingly sloppy once we crossed the halfway line at times but still created the games best chances - same as v Barnsley. Once it all clicks we’ll dish out a few hammerings this year.
Stick with Collins everyone - form is temporary, class is permanent. Despite being under par in the last couple of games he’s still had very dangerous moments in games and isn’t far away from being the player we know. Hopefully that will be soon before more start to get on his back.
Crama looks a hell of a player but he has been a bit fortunate that one big mistake late in each of the last two games hasn’t led to goals. He’ll learn from that and go from strength to strength. We really need to get Bogarde back to hold that midfield together and if enough money in the budget a good quality striker .
I’m still happy with my bet that we’ll win the league. We’ve got so much quality and perhaps more importantly that never say die mentality we had in our promotion run.

Great win but didn’t we make it hard for ourselves. Pity Sinclair missed and then Marquis as that turned the game. Vale not strong enough on that showing but will learn quickly im sure with JB toughing him up. Pity we didn’t hold on v Portsmouth and Pompey to achieve wins. No one can complain with being unbeaten after the first 3 games against those teams though. Onto Cambridge and hopefully another 3 points A bit harsh to say Marquis missed as I'm not sure what else he could have gone, sometimes you just have to give credit for the defending. |

Shouldn’t have made so many subs when we were on top. Totally killed the momentum. Agreed… Thought Vale was unlucky … stretching to get to the ball . Other than that chance I thought Vale didn’t have a great game, Thomas was doing well down that side, it was a big call to bring on a young lad who has hardly had time to train with us. But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter, we rode out the tough patch in the game and got the win. |

Great solid start points wise. Certainly don't think many would have thought we would pick up 5 points from these 3 games!
Frustrating we waste so many chances to score, but at least we are creating them and eventually you'd expect us to start being more clinical. Little bit disappointed by how pedestrian we became after going ahead, really rolled out the red carpet for them to get back into it.
But can't deny the fight in the team to keep plugging away and nick it at the death. Buzzing for Macca, so hope this is his catalyst to show us all how good a player we know he can be! Great celebrations throughout the team after the goal and in front of the fans at the end. That feels like it could be a big moment in terms of really forging a fantastic team spirit between everyone. UTG!!

Hearing that go in on Radio Bris whilst driving home from work, almost stacked it into the hedge!
Hoskins could barely get his words out n all. What an end to end finish to a football match, sounded very fortunate with Grant not getting his marching orders, may missing a guilt edge chance but we took it to them right to the last!
& fair play I have hammered Macca since he came back, but that is one sensational finish in the 98th min! Composure & quality! Hopefully a launch pad for him now. Badly wish I was in that away end for the limbage! Safe trip back all.
Bring on the boat race mob!!

Fantastic win, great to see us nick it at the end instead of letting one in. That ball into the box was class. That will do McCormacks confidence some good, hopefully he will go on to get many more for us this season. Like he did the first season he was with us.

I’m in shock that we’ve started a season so well to be honest.
Been supporting the Rovers 40 years and other than Gerry Francis second term when we won our first three ( I think ) I can’t remember us ever playing really well in our first 2-3 games.
