Sad loss and a great interviewer.
His good friend Dickie Bird was on 5Live earlier. Parky had a better batting average than Geoffrey Boycott when they played together for Barnsley CC. Dickie's aver was even higher.

Obviously I will remember him for his work as an interviewer - but what sticks in my memory was seeing him on Top Gear with Clarkson, telling stories and having a great time being on the other side of the interview...
...not often we can say this, but there will never be anyone like him again...
