Give Cambridge a bit of credit. They are blocking of space for us to pass in to. They're a decent side. Well drilled and well organised. Will probably be aiming to finish near us in the mid-table. |

Very poor fare.
Instead of tippy tippy at the back, pass it quicker and add some pace.
They have two aging centre backs who need to be made to get out of their armchairs .

Isn't this exactly what was predicted by those that understand this division? We have to find a way of breaking through the spoiling tactics of such teams unlike the first three who are proper footballing teams.

It’s more an inability to pass the ball that’s costing us |

Sounds like the sort of game expected thus far. Cambridge style is designed around not having the ball much but being resolute defensively. Slightly new test for our team to face a setup like that, was never going to be easy.
Hopefully find a little bit of quality to get in front and go on from there 🤞 UTG!

Too many people expecting us to just turn up and walk all over them. They have won two of their first three games and look a well organised side. |

Still think everything is to play for here. Cambridge's low block has frustrated us so far, but there are opportunities from wide. We've generally looked solid against their counter attacks so far.

Patience required. |

Physical challenge today, first time we've come up against a side that sits, then is direct. Be pleased with a point at the moment. We need to play them at thier own game, missing a physical presence up front.

The pitch is narrow and they don't play with wingers so its not really a surprise that Thomas or Collins are finding no space. Their defenders sit deep and dont venture forward so we have to overcome that by playing someone just behind Marquis. We need more of a physical presence in the box.They are effective at what they do and it is up to Barton to find a way through

Same as against charlton the defence is sat too deep and the midfield is not pushing up to support the forwards.
We need a reaction 2nd half again.

Cambridge not a bad side tbh, loads have them as going down but from what I've seen they will be very comfortable, not as good as us though
