Some pretty tricky fixtures coming thick and fast.... Here's where we need to cement a solid start in the top 10, I'm going with the below:
Bristol Rovers 1-2 Wycombe Bristol Rovers 2-2 Lincoln Reading 0-2 Bristol Rovers Shrewsbury 1-2 Bristol Rovers Bristol Rovers 1-2 Wigan Athletic Peterborough 1-2 Bristol Rovers
10 points from 18.... Collins back on form & finishing September back in 10th Place.

The league is still taking shape so it's hard to see which teams will be really tough to beat.
We all thought Barnsley were the team to beat but they've got less points than us so far whereas Cambridge we were quite optimistic about facing and now they're sitting top of league.
Got to aim for at least 4 points from the next two home games. I think so far we've proved that we've got a better defense than last season and a stronger bench.
However the goals have dried up since February and that's something we need to put right.

Id expect us to beat Wycombe at home, they have already been beaten twice 0-3 this season and were helped with a sending off against Orient. Dont seem to score many goals in general but I see Josh Lows son scored a couple for them at that Orient game. Agree re Collins we need to play him into form as on form he is our best attacker

Apart from Wigan (top of the table if not for points deduction) and Peterborough, I don't see those as too tricky.
I see Reading have been deducted one more point for 'irregularities'. But given they had six deducted last season, what is the point of adding another in a different season? Not exactly punitive is it? Maybe they left the tops of the ketchup bottles a bit messy. We all hate that, obvs.

Slightly off topic but don't want to start a new thread but, Can anyone explain why Barnsley was £23 and Lincoln is £26 in the Thatchers? Three quid extra for what. Hardly category A game is it?

Apologies for a negative first post but is it really £26 to stand in a dilapidated stadium to watch League One football?

Apologies for a negative first post but is it really £26 to stand in a dilapidated stadium to watch League One football? Sadly due to our rivals across the river being so poor we have to charge that much to try and cut down on demand from so many of their disgruntled former fans trying to buy tickets.

So one point for Wycombe / Lincoln as I predicted, having said that my predictions of next few games have defo changed: Shrewsbury 2-1 Bristol Rovers Bristol Rovers 1-2 Wigan Athletic Peterborough 0-0 Bristol Rovers Bristol Rovers 2-2 Port Vale Oxford United 0-0 Bristol Rovers 3 points from 15 available - could be a nightmare. Hope I'm wrong.

History tells us to never try and guess results weeks ahead, as when you expect Rovers to win they lose and vice a versa.
As any manager will say it's just the next match which is important, stuff Cheltenham 3-0 tomorrow and things will suddenly look better. The Shrewsbury game looks an important one as a win there will set us nicely, a loss the opposite.
