I think it says a lot about what Barton thinks of Hoole and Gordon that he’s dropped them the first chance he gets. But then again we know that he’s very trigger happy after a dodgy performance too and with such a big squad the temptation to change it every week is going to be too tempting I think. We’re spoilt for choice in many positions and with such a big squad there will be some good steady players missing out every week, by my reckoning around 8 or 9. But if we are to challenge then that’s the depth we need. Working well today! Too many changes IMO. |

Why can't we play with sort of passion and urgency from the kick off, 75 minutes huff & puff, then 15 minutes of something resembling a typical Rovers performance

Why can't we play with sort of passion and urgency from the kick off, 75 minutes huff & puff, then 15 minutes of something resembling a typical Rovers performance But only because we’re chasing the game. Saw this so often last season too. Team sent out with boring instructions to go backwards and sideways and then it’s panic stations when we go behind and have to the throw everyone on. It’s the tactics we start with, not the players IMO. |

Its all happening over on Wycombes forum. 3 posts so far on their matchday thread. I guess reports they sold less than 200 tickets are untrue and they are busy at the Mem... Expecting a different Wycombe if this post is anything to go by; "Hopefully Barton has the same plans as the fans on the Bristol forum who seem completely unaware that Ainsworth has left and expect time-wasting and shithousery" - Wycombe actually playing football, whatever next?!
