Really starting to get annoyed at our over-engineering of everything. 2 freekicks to get it into the box and we pass it all over the place and get forced back to our own GK.
Wycombe same freekick, into the box and scores.

Don't give away a silly freekick then you don't have to defend it. Too many players static and only a few looking to make something happen. Need a no 9

Started off ok, but we never seem to move the ball quickly enough against these sort of teams. Hopefully saving it all for the 2nd half.

A pity we conceded a soft goal, been so much on top without creating anything clear cut.
Need a little more urgency & pace going forward and I can see us turning this round

So it turns out we’re actually really easy to defend against.
Just stick close to your man and you won’t have to worry. Rovers won’t bother trying to take you on or whip the ball into the box, they’d rather go backwards and keep possession. Over and over again.
We have more success in the last 5 mins knocking it long over the CBs head. We look busy, but in reality we’re just pinging the ball about with no real intent

A lot of possession but that’s about it.
Maybe too many changes? I know Wilson is a top defender but I’m not sure if it was worth breaking up Taylor and Crama after he’s been out for a few weeks.
Hunt looks a decent RB but Friend is a bit off the pace. Again not sure if it was worth rushing him into the side?

Much improved display from last week, but boy oh boy we need a JCH type bully up front, our ideas seem to run out in the final third
