I believe this is still the rule for squad sizes.
'Each club is able to list up to 17 senior players that are not English or Welsh and did not spend a significant period in an English or Welsh academy, plus any number of homegrown players up to a maximum squad size of 25, plus an unlimited number of academy and under-21 players'.
I think we've got 30 players now, although not sure how many are too young, or from the academy. Does this mean a few need to leave?

Good Question.
I did a count up and also got to 30 yesterday and thought to myself how is he going to keep everyone happy?
Some have to go out on loan?
Especially if that 'iceing on the cake' Striker could be on the way before next Friday?
Interesting to find out how many 'Junior's' don't count in the total squad size?

Vale, Cox, Crama, Hall, Hoole, Bogarde i am sure come under 21
Think we have 5 loans as well so the most we can have in a match day squad

Would be nice if those fully understanding reporters at Live or World would clarify all this.

It sounds to me like one or two may leave, and just one more to come in (a forward), so JB must be comfortable with the size of the squad. |
