Are there similarities to Atkins? A good eye for a player, but then once they are here doesn't know how to get the best out of them?
I don't think it is a coincidence that our best form was when we had Bondy on the training pitch ( and the Anderson cheat code).
Maybe JB could became our director of football as he can seem to get good players in, has good contacts and gets involved in a lot of areas of operations which other managers may not necessarily deal with.
Joey has been very vocal about how the footballing side should be run and has slagged off TW saying how it should be done, and also been instrumental in evolving the medical side and away day preparations - overnight stays before mid-week games with other costly premier league style resources to help the players, development of the Quarters, training drones etc.
Maybe he would be better as being a conduit between the playing side and TG. The board are obviously happy to back him on the transfer front and the players are attracted to coming here together with of the field premier league resources.
We seem to have a huge amount of backroom staff (3 or 4 just involved in the half time kickabout - why).
If we had someone with some tactical nous they could choose there best 11 and deal with matchday touchline duties and media stuff.
Luckily for the first time in our history we can just throw money at the project by getting more and more players in but there are so many changes from week to week they can't build any rapport and don't know each other's games.
Soon there are going to be factions as there are too many to be happy unless they are content just to pick up their wages.
