Looks really impressive.
Was this what Dave Bright was actually working on? Kudos if it was.
Not sure where it is located - is it the old Presidents Club?

It’s the old presidents club lounge - correct.
The away directors used to feast there but I think they are now down in box 17.
I’ve walked passed it but not looked inside it.

Noticed it said the catering was back in house.
I remember the days of Robert Laurence. Great food in hospitality and in the pasty huts - even better than Delia!
He used to be almost omnipresent that bloke! Football, rugby and functions - when we used to do them.
He must have done a 50hour+ week during the season.

I remember waking up in Southmead Hospital in the early 90s having completed 80 hours and had collapsed in the kitchen with no memory of the build up. Don't miss those days at all!

Yeah, its not been as good either IMO or shall I say, its not as good as the previous in house offerings. The outsourced food last year was very good. So far we have had 2 different versions of a cold meat salad, which, isnt my idea of hospitality food and I wouldnt want it on a cold and wet tuesday night for my tea either.

I used to get up at 3am eat a hand full of cold gravel for breakfast…….work 30 hours down pit. Get home and me Dad would beat me to death with a broken bottle….8 days a week.

I won’t believe there’s a CJ Hole Lounge until I’m sat in it.

I won’t believe there’s a CJ Hole Lounge until I’m sat in it. It’ll only cost you £149 plus VAT to do it

I won’t believe there’s a CJ Hole Lounge until I’m sat in it. It’ll only cost you £149 plus VAT to do it well, if it pays JCH’s wages, they maybe.

It does say you can help yourself to coffee. Since COVID that stuff has been rocketing in price. Ten mug fulls is worth quite a bit and might help you stay awake to be able to watch the Tikka taka sideways game!
