Sorry I don't mean to be rude genuinely - Do you go to the games ? Against Cambridge, Wycombe and now Lincoln some of our players are crazy slow not just in our build up but also when we get counter attacked - they literally get over taken by the opposition keener to get to the ball. On Saturday Only a handful seem to be really mobile - Thomas , Woods , Friend, Collins in the first half and Hunt all were looking for the ball and making runs. Others just seemed to slow - Bogarde and Finley especially - maybe it's me but I didn't see the real urgency as much as I would have liked. I'll ignore the unnecessary dig as I assume it's pretty obvious from my posts that I regularly attend games, if not, then I do a lot of needless moaning about season tickets etc. JB played Finley and Bogarde as holding CM's, do you really expect them to be darting forward to try and get on the end of passes. If they did then you'd be the first to moan that Finley had been caught out of position. I thought we played 4 1 4 1 moving to 4 3 3 when attacking. Woods played defensive midfield. Problem was that the other two midfield players were in a new role, one which suited Evan's more

Get the keeper to release the ball quicker and that might help If the players looked for the ball and created some space ahead of him that would be a good shout. hunt constantly was looking for a throwback him when he had acres of space Keeper dithered then gave it to hunt and by then the low block was set up

Might a good tactic against the low block is to adopt a low block.
Fight fire with fire. Actually it’s more like fighting water with water.
