I live in Fort Lauderdale couple miles north of Miami. Waxy O’ Connors on 17th street has all the games and they welcome Gas ‘eads. UTG!

And is the owner a rovers fan or how did you swing it that they put it on the screen? I live in Vancouver Canada and I am aware of 2 other rovers fans in the city. I had an old shirt hanging in a pub but certainly nowhere here willing to show the games (granted it's a 7am kick off every Saturday for us!) |

The owner runs the pub very well so he’s happy to placate his customers. Being that I’ve always put meself about, and not forgetting that there’s a large British population here (mostly working in the yachting industry) where everyone knows everyone, it’s no exaggeration to say that the Rovers are a lot of people’s 2nd team and after a result like today I’ve already received many congratulatory texts. There’s so many Brits here locally in fact that when there’s a tournament on, other ex-pats will fly in from all over the country ‘til we inevitably get knocked out. The place gets rammed. UTG! |
