Bad news about Crama. Need to recall Connolly now How can we recall a player who's on a season long loan to another league club? The only time players can be recalled is in January. Somebody posted recently we seem short on cover at CB now Connolly's been sent out on loan. We don’t all know the rules inside out, so no need to be quite so aggressive. |

What the hell is belshaw doing with his kicking tonight. Unbelievably shocking. I just don't think he can play the way JB wants us/him to play, it's a bit like when Parkin couldn't cope with the back pass changes. Although god knows what makes him kick straight to a West Ham striker! |

Strange First half … Sone great stuff … some strange stuff and some awful stuff all mixed into this tie.
Belshaw - a couple of good saves but distribution has been woeful.
Hoole & Gibbons - just completely out of touch.
Gordon- Mixed hot and cold
Wilson - composed at the back
Our first choice defence is far better that is clear to see.
Woods / Finley - Sloppy occasionally again mixed with some decent touches.
McCormick and Vale- very wasteful
Brown and Sinclair not showing much yet…
Hoping for some changes later to inject a bit more quality into the game.

Interesting game, some real class in West ham midfield. Think you've got to give them credit for closing us down very quickly, although I doubt they'll be able to keep that up for 90 minutes. We've made enough chances to be comfortably ahead though
