Belshaw Both 4 and 8. Brilliant at times but the words rusty and risky seem appropriate.
Gibbons 6. Disappointed he did not score for both sides again.
Hoole 5. Great potential. Needed to focus more on his position when in centre of defence.
Wilson 7. A reassuring presence that helps others to play with confidence.
Gordon 6. Defensively solid. A genuine team player who links effectively.
McCormick 5. Had he scored one of his three reasonable chances. If.
Woods 5. A positive influence and a vocal player but failed to push on.
Finley 5. Struggled to make his usual impact against a quick passing midfield.
Vale 5. Looked like his wing play would produce but he did not convert opportunities presented.
Brown 6. Worked energetically and his interplay was excellent. Should have scored.
Sinclair 7. Played very well and looked like the match winner but faded.
Taylor 5. Splendid play but one piece of poor decision making spoilt his evening.
Collins 5. Pretty anonymous. Sadly.
Evans 6. On his game and deserved a goal. WHU keeper saved good efforts.
Bogarde 5. Good display at centre half. Ruined by poor decision making and positioning for the second goal.
Thomas 8. Luke at his best. Shame he only got 20 minutes.
Ref 8. Efficient. Hardly noticed. Fair.
West Ham 8. Slick, professional and full of flair.

Only a small poll for this game as expected. For Saturdays game against Wigan would appreciate scores in whole numbers and 0.5 increments .ie 7, 7.5 etc. Not the likes of 6.2, 7.7 etc etc. Many thanks
Smudge appreciate your input which has come in just as I was collating the final scores. I will be continuing this thread from now on and hopefully against Wigan we will have more posters contributing. I will close the poll two days after the games have taken place. Many thanks.
