That was Joey’s comment after the disappointment of missing out on JCH. He said you don’t always get what you want in life but have to find a solution and it gives an opportunity to step up for someone else.
Well, Step up they have, both Aaron Collins and John Marquis with two goals in two games now and both looking lively, decisive and inspired. 👏🏾👏🏾
Early days but if they can continue to ‘spearhead’ the attack we may just progress up the table. The whole squad seem invigorated.
While many were losing their heads about that deadline day it appears the players and management remained calm and rolled their sleeves up, as much in life things are never as bad as they seem. 👍🏾

My sense is it probably did and now that the "burden" has been lifted they have responded accordingly,bit like anyone being in a job knowing that someone is waiting in the wings to potentially replace them,football is peculiar in that way but they are after all only human. |
