It has to be lower because of site lines. It does look odd but people would have blocked views from the West Stand looking into the corner if the SE Stand seating was the same height as the South Stand. |

If anything having the roof line higher would improve viewing Looking at that I think your right. Raising the roof to the same height as the south stand would actually improve sightlines. The only people who may be slightly affected are the end hospitality box who might not be able to see the corner flag. |

At the Millenium stadium for some boring game called Rugby those in the lower tier sometimes lose sight of the ball when it goes up very high as the ceiling on the next tier is very low so they have to follow it momentarily on a TV screen. |

Like I mentioned in the other thread they may remove it further down the line if they decide to remove and redo the East Stand, smaller stand less to dismantle so to speak |

They are clearly going to have to put some floodlights onto the roof of the stand, because the corner between the south and south west stands will be completely outside of the view of the current lights, when the roof goes on

Possibly for pitch lights. |

If the SW stand went back any further the people sat in the back half would spend most of the game staring at the side of the west stand.
Its as big there as it can be until the west stand is demolished and a full length stand built.

Popular insulation stand needs replacing first build one all the way along to the thatchers.
Use the steps as safe standing under the seated area.
