Conygar is a publicly traded company, no stadium at the Fruit Market would be a significant market event.... ...so either it can't be announced yet or it is some kind of brinksmanship to try to get a better deal....

It makes you realise how much dead space there is behind the Thatchers in particular. The East stand could obviously be knocked down and replaced by something bigger quite easily without interfering with neighbours and causing any planning issues

Would be a large development and has been stated before what happens to, Lack of income from hospitality and bars, Loss of income due to lower attendance, What happens to those fans in East stand, What about club shop, Loss of some of the car park. Must be other things on the list....

It was my drone footage you spotted on YouTube which in turn has led me to this group. I’m attempting to drone all 92 football league stadiums so it was taken after the Wigan game when I picked my son up (Wigan fan). What has interested me is the good reactions to it (currently on 4,000+ views where normally a small stadium gets 500 if it’s lucky!) especially compared to Ashton Gate which has around 150 views in the same amount of time. Is it the fact there is a new stand being built? Or just not really much other drone footage out there. If it’s because of the stand being built or there is other work planned then it will definitely be worth me doing a follow up trip. As well as doing all 92 stadiums I have also been covering stadium expansions (anfield, new Everton stadium, Wrexham , Etihad etc) so if there is more work planned I would love to know so I can plan regular trips.

Oi , less of the ‘small ground’…… it’s the Wembley of the south ! 😂 Your video has got a lot of views because our proposed new stadium in central Bristol looks like it’s not going to happen now. Your video highlights the space that’s available to increase the capacity at the Mem should we go down that path. Something many gasheads have thought for yrs but were told wasn’t possible/viable.

Really enjoyed your drone footage & like a previous poster said, it’s made fans realise that a decent stadium may be possible at the Mem. Obviously the new stand being constructed creates a lot interest , the same as probably Everton fans would be more interested in footage of their new stadium being built, rather than one of Goodison park. Hopefully you can return in the new year when the stand is finished & I will definitely look forward to seeing more footage of the grounds you cover in the future, keep up the good work.

Tom Gorringe is the best person to contact, I pitched to him about doing some drone footage a few years back, provided him with all my insurance and PFCO documents. At the time he said there wasn't much going on and he would contact me at a later date, never did hear back from him.

Speculate to accumulate seems to work for the majority of businesses that go on to grow Until now that was what was happening, the stadium was, still is in places, dilapidated and needs work. I just can’t see money being spent if we were moving and loans taken out. The rusty paint showers from the top of west stand to the bottom were a regular thing
