He probably used a fairly insulting tone and combined with derogatory language, but probably no more than what you would level at anyone who cuts you up on a roundabout at rush hour. The fact the predator from Plymouth was sneaking around with a camera trying to listen in to a conversation he had no reason to be party to meant that he managed to record the wrath of Mangan. What a shambles. There's no evidence he was trying to listen in on a conversation? It's not really clear what he was trying to do.

Having now read through the full hearing text, I’m astounded how they reached the decision. The Plymouth employee even had the cheek to edit the video the following day with sub titles he claimed AM had said and the commission could not hear any of what he claimed. Seems to me the commission reached the conclusion that they did to keep Plymouth happy even though it was on the minor charge and in doing so making the wider football world form the opinion that AM was guilty and banged to rights. It took them nearly a year to sort out something that should have never seen the light of day and as for so say filming a dressing room door, what the hell is that about. Very strange all round from Mr Rose. I doubt AM helped himself by admitting he called the PA employee a peado. Surprised no action was taken against the PA employee for having a camera near the changing rooms, even if he was only given a warning about future conduct.

Charge 3.2 is the serious offence he has been cleared of. Charge 3.1 is a strange one as, unless there is a menu-type fine list for particular words, people should be fined up and down the country every week for insulting or abusive language. I've heard plenty directed at our dugout from opposition managers and I'm sure it's reciprocated! As far as our local FA is concerned, directing the "c" word at children is not worthy of investigation. I assume this is consistent across all layers of the FA, so Mangan should stick to that. one in future Saying the C word "C!ty" in front of children should be a hanging offence.

I noticed Dan/Bristol Post taking the same line as Rovers, highlighting the bit that was thrown out. Hopefully this is a precursor to Joey letting Dan back in the fold.

Thats 2 totally different things, and to be honest, with 16-17 year old boys around a locker room with a camera, its a fair question.

Failing to see what Andy Mangan has done wrong here and also why the Plymouth bloke wasn't charged by the FA.

Failing to see what Andy Mangan has done wrong here and also why the Plymouth bloke wasn't charged by the FA. Asking a question it seems. Madness

However strange the case, they certainly weren't taking any chances by hiring Nick De Marco KC though!

Reading the Post article, it seems the panel were trying to find a polite way of saying the Argyle bloke was making it up.
The Plymouth employee was "sincere in the evidence he gave and was doing his best to provide a truthful recollection of events" but "was evidently in doubt as exactly what had happened."
What a load of meaningless drivel. Pleased to see Joey correctly calling the FA out and would be good to see Sky Sports ticker tape announcing Mangan has been cleared.
