Hunt is getting rinsed today As good as he is going forward, I think defensively he can be got at. Last season we put in a real shift in for that 0-0 and if I remember correctly Gordon and Gibbons were really aggressive in keeping their wingers relatively quiet. I get that we are playing fullbacks in Hunt and Vale who are better with the ball in the opposition half but sometimes we should be mindful of the opposition strengths too and maybe change things accordingly. I would have rested Hunt today ready for Tuesdays game at home when we will have more of the ball and played gibbons today who’s more aggressive in my opinion. |
