I'm not sure why you wouldn't put the pictures on your blog rather than directing people to Facebook. I was interested but not enough to sign up for a Facebook account.
Random for a Gas Works post on the BRFC forum sure, but I'm always interested in local football stories so more than happy to see the post here personally.

I used to watch them a lot in the late 80’s/early 90’s when the Great Mills Western League Prem was a really strong league with the likes of Taunton, Weston, Tiverton etc. They had a potty mouthed Manager called Ralph Miller who was a real character - he built the wall around the pitch and their stand which carries his name if I remember rightly. Also possibly the greatest local non league goal scorer played there for a good few seasons - Andy Perrett. Seemed to score every single game. |
