Tuesday night home game against the Vale who sit 6th on 17 points, 5 points above the Gas . Both teams lost their last game , Vale at home to Bolton 0-1.
This will be our tenth league match of the season which is a good marker to see how we’ve got on so far , a defeat will mean a pretty poor start to the season. Win and it’s a reasonable start.
Luke Thomas looking like he’ll miss out to injury and I expect a few more changes as well.

Guaranteed better start stats wise than the last two seasons though (6 defeats in 10)
If we avoid defeat tomorrow it’ll be a decent start to the season for me

At least we don’t have too long to put the loss behind us. Not doing a lot wrong on the pitch so hopefully we can get back to be clinical up front.
Expect 2 or 3 changes minimum. Cant get back for this one, so won’t be tempted to shout “take his wages away” at Joey if he makes a mistake!

Anyone know what’s going on with Lofty ? Not even on the bench for them last game, guessing he’s injured. Picked up a calf injury last weekend before their game so will be out for a few weeks. |
