We met during the summer and chatted about what he would think about joining Rovers. He seemed the sort to enjoy a quiet life at home with a ready meal from a supermarket, box set on the TV and a steady girlfriend. The type who would benefit from a manager who would put an arm around to build confidence rather than be aggressive and critical.
