Cox 7 decent. Hunt 6 gave ball away for one dangerous chance and no jump header contest on 2nd goal. Taylor 6 done his best to marshall defence and even ran down a loose ball back to keeper! The slip though cost 1st goal. Grant 7 quiet game which is good news. Vale 7.5 m o m everywhere! Bogarde 5 weak link today with poor passes and missed opportunity from 6 yards after only a few minutes. Woods 7.5 defended the mid well and tracked. McCormick 6 unusually quiet game from him. Brown 3 helped cost us the match by needless challenge of that nature and didn't offer much else. Collins 7.5 again broke through their defence seemingly at will and although his missed a hat trick, finished well for his goal. Martin 5.5 inaffective but maybe the camera doesn't do him justice as to what he brings to the team off the ball.
Hall Finley 5 out of sorts was looking for a booking. Sinclair 8 (I know after 80 mins) affected change, we looked more galvanised in the forward line with his inclusion. Now a very important player next few games.. Evans 6 not much contribution. Gibbons Hoole
Ref 0 with as much common sense. Oxford 7 decent team and lived up to their reputation for being early pace setters.....so I guess it's encouraging we put them through their paces, but again we are left to the our missed chances.
Credit to JAB for mentioning the fans, and we did play well but you have to box clever against these type of officials, so another yellow Mr Barton doesn't make you look clever.

Don't you think Collins was too slow. He could have made more head way if he did slow up?

Results, Connor Taylor and Vale our highest scorers on 7.2 , Woods on 6.7. I have amended the scores as I omitted one of Harvey Vales scores. I would appreciate scores limited to 0.5 increments rather that the likes of 6.1, 6.7 etc.
