You normally ask for evidence, what makes you so convinced at this stage that it is the US? I appreciate they may have history but there are a number of suspects. You normally ask for evidence, what makes you so convinced at this stage that it is the US? I appreciate they may have history but there are a number of suspects. Could be Saudi backed for all we know. The lines are blurred. MOSSAD/CIA, who knows. But not much happens like that without American approval, unless it's a State outside their sphere of influence. On that basis which of those outside their sphere has the capacity and wherewithal to undertake such a bombing in Kerman, Iran? |

No one inside Iran or in any nearby country has any reason to dislike Qasem Soleimani, those remembering his death and/or the current Iranian regime, so the only logical explanation is Israel/the US.... |

There is of course a good reason why whatever is left of ISIS hates Iran who were a large part of the ISIS defeat in Syria. As were the Kurds in Iraq, who we rewarded by selling them out to the Turks. All of that is a bit inconvenient to the Americans of course. The aim of the drones would be to swamp the ship's radar systems and allow the anti ship missiles to get through.
Hitting a ship would escalate things dramatically, leading to counter attacks against launch sites inland.
