We out played Oxford with virtually the same squad bar McCormick, who's hardly been a starter since he rejoined us, as long as either Hunt or Hoole are fit the starting 11 is surely good enough to compete with a mid table side, when we'll probably still have players like Sinclair and Woods on the bench. Think both will start Cox Hunt/Hoole Taylor Grant Vale Woods Bogarde Sincs Evo Azza Martin UTG Forgot Brown's also missing today it looks like Sinclair must start unless plays Evans out wide and either Finley or Ward play in midfield. Surprised we haven't recalled a youngster or two as we'll have a thin bench if Hunt & Hoole are both ruled out. I make it just Finley/Ward & Hall, if Gibbons starts and neither Crama nor Friend have recovered. |

Stuck in traffic 4 miles from ground. Roads blocked by water. Gonna be lucky to make kickoff!!

I don't think he has gone on loan so unless he is another training ground injury I would have thought he could be on the bench and also for the Whitby game? Kofi Shaw could be another, who could benefit from a bit of matchday experience, even if it is two minutes at the end. Lewis Haldane was pitched straight into battle and he did really well his first season as a skinny speedy striker. Sometimes it is sink or swim. |

Have to watch out for Kwadwo Baah,fast and skilful right wing.They usually play our old friend Muzzy on the left wing for home games (not sure how quick he is now at 35) so testing day for whoever we play in the full back positions today. A lovely 1-3 Marshy would be nice and fancy Sinclair to get on the scoresheet today.

Agree, if we can't fill the bench, at least give some of the youngsters who aren't on loan the chance of being around the first team squad on a matchday, even they are unlikely to get on the pitch. |

Got my young lad with me. What time do the players usually arrive? From memory, around 1.30. However, with water on the roads causing problems they may have set out earlier, or could be delayed. They're a good bunch, so I hope you get the opportunity of some photos with the players as they get off the coach. |

Said to my wife I am going to be miserable today if the game is called off. Her reply was " No different to any other day then".
Hope the game goes ahead especially for all the gas heads that have travelled up. Always seems to be a tough ground to get a result, but I am going for a draw, which I think would be good considering their form and our injury list.

If Crama comes into the starting XI presumably Grant can move across to LB and allow Vale to move forward in place of Brown?
