Been saying it for weeks, Vale isn’t good enough at left and it was evident at Oxford. Burton today like Oxford are playing on Vale, all down the left, we have three left backs as well.

Vale has done reasonably well in previous games, but every team have targeted that side since he's been playing there

Left back was a position of need last season too. We brought in Friend who had played about 25 games over the last two seasons but didn't seem to think through what would happen if he couldn't suddenly play 50 games a season. The result is us playing a left winger out of position. Of course the opposition are going to target him.
