In both the last two away games we have been the better team but until we learn to keep 11 players on the pitch the results are not going to change. In 90% of games where you go down to 10 players with half a game to go you are going to lose. To do that in games where you are playing well is a recipe to disaster. It doesnt matter who is Manager you need to keep eleven players on the pitch.

Discipline and Injuries are costing us massively. Grant wards injured again now so woods missing 3 matches means we probably have only Finley Bogarde and Evans available for selection for the foreseeable in midfield now.
Another injury and we don't have enough yet again.

The number of games up and down the country which are being decided by referees giving out so many cards is ridiculous. Basically any foul can be a yellow nowadays - you can get sent off for two minor infringements that wouldn’t hurt a fly. They need to remember people pay their hard earned cash to watch footballers play football and not the power mad, attention seeking officials.

And you think referees are doing a good job in helping the sport as an entertainment? As I said it’s ruining games every weekend up and down the country not just for us. Matches should be played 11 v 11 and players should only be sent off in the most serious circumstances, instead referees want all the attention and get way too busy dishing out cards instead of just letting games flow.

I don’t think we get it worse than anyone else. Every club is affected and every fan is watching games being ruined by poor refereeing - both in terms of leaving matches with an odd numbered contest and entertainment being ruined by allowing dark arts to flourish.

It's both referee interpretation and player indiscipline, both needs to be looked at and that includes the so called 'dark arts'.
Time to bring in sin bins. Yellow cards don't punish players 'in game' so the wronged team don't gain an advantage.

A complete loss of discipline and the referee had no choice.

In two or three games this season including yesterday the opponents manager told his keeper to go down, so he could get his team together and organise his tactics. Refs are not stamping down in this? I do question JBs tactics at times, he does not change them to keep the opponents guessing

Leave the pitch like any other player, yes including our own. Then we’ll see what’s what.

As the only reason they seem to be going down injured is for a coaching session.

During these ‘tactical injury’ breaks make all the other players stand in the centre circle. Once managers realise they don’t get their team talk opportunity you’ll soon see the keepers managing to get through a full 90 minutes with needing urgent medical help. On the subject of keepers the threat of a yellow card isn’t really stopping time wasting. Why not punish it with an indirect free kick, the managers will quickly instruct their keepers to get on with the game rather than face an indirect free kick in their own box.

Make it direct Smash it in from 8 yards out. That’ll learn ‘em.
