Ethan Clarke is the clubs new marketing executive. (Not sure if the title means he is an exact replacement for David Bright or not - head of sales/ head of marketing)
Anyway, I sent him a few suggestions and he has replied and advised that in fact some of the changes were already approved.
Already that's an improvement on the previous incumbent!
Obviously to come in and look to make changes mid season is not the best time, but he has already said he has looked at the matchday programme and a few quick win improvements are in place.
He seems open to suggestions, so if anyone has any ideas which can help the club, please let him know.
It is an important role, so let's hope he hits the ground running.

Have you met the new owners yet? If you have what are your thoughts on them. They have been deathly silent since taking over and it would be nice to have some kind of contact from them with regards to where the club is heading? It would also be nice to know if the situation has changed with regards the redevelopment of the mem as it was always said being not a viable option. Thanks.

I left the committee before relegation to the conference, so am not involved anymore other than selling on a matchday and have not met any of the owners. I am not sure if they are attending the SC AGM, but supporters can ask their questions to at least Helen and Steve face to face.

What’s his email address? ethanclarke@bristolrovers.co.uk I think he is looking to promote the Pirate Pots and player sponsorship initially, so anyone interested in helping the club through these initiatives should contact him for more info.

Lovely - cheers Dave. I was going to email him about whether the club/club shop might consider offering discount to people with Blue Light Cards or Defence Discount Cards. I did email TG about it last October - he replied and said he’d copied in David Bright, who was “the best person to speak to”, but I never heard anything back. So maybe I’ll try again with Ethan then.

Great shout on the cards, I've got a defence discount card myself, but tbh nowhere I actually spend any money seems to take it (which is fine, but everyone loves a discount!)

Yeah - I’ve got one of each and there seem to be quite few online places (that I’d never buy stuff from) that take them; apart from that it only seems to be places like Hungry Horse pubs, KFC, and some sports and outdoor equipment places.

Also with DDS card you can sign up to the WEX fuel card and get a few pennies off each litre of fuel. ESSO only, but every little helps I guess.

Oh yeah, tbf KFC is pretty much the only time I use it! Outdoor stuff is always on my list, it's been a while since I've actually looked through the outlets, will have a look 😎
