The AGM is being held at the Mem on Thursday 2 November 7pm.
A good chance to ask questions and get a face to face reply.

Will the new manager be appointed in time for the SC AGM. There is usually a forum afterwards with club officals and the manager.
Could be interesting to ask him questions and get a reply from the horses mouth.( Or if he takes over before and we lose a couple by then it could be a real baptism of fire).

Are there going to be any FC representatives there? It usually is the manager and a director or CEO type around for a forum where you can ask questions direct to the people that matter.
Might get some insight into the stadium development and the process for searching for a new manager.

Really wanted to go to this one, but I’m working til midnight, so if anyone can see their way clear to posting a summary of proceedings that would be great First of al, the turnout was pathetic - I think about 15 people besides the committee. This was possibly because the "guest speaker" wasn't advised in advance - in previous meetings, we've had Joey Barton, Darrell Clarke, Nick Higgs, Wael Al Qadi known about in advance which attracted decent turnouts. The AGM official agenda was passed and all reports agreed by the attendees, committee members up for re-election were passed unanimously. The only question was had Steve Lamble and Helen Wigmore met the new owners and Steve confirmed they had and that the new owners are super ambitious to progress the club to at least Championship level. The guest speaker was, in fact Byron Anthony who provided a lot of details about our application to be upgraded to Category 2. Currently, the academy is split over 3 sites, Lockleaze, SGS and Hill something or another (never heard of it before). The interim solution is for all age groups to be at SGS, which would qualify for Category 2, although more full-time staff would be needed. The funding is much higher from the Premier League and EFL if we get accepted for Category 2. Byron then made the mistake of asking for questions and comments. Two people then hogged the floor for over an hour and basically their questions could be summarised as "why is City's academy better than ours?" I was bored rigid and I don't know how Byron kept a straight face!

i went to a meeting a few months ago but sat on my own as everyone else seemed to know each other. No-one introduced themselves and I didn't have a clue who anyone was. People just stood up and talked - assuming that the audience knew who they were. In the end i came to the conclusion that it was just too cliquey and left as soon as i could.
