The website says come and watch first team talent like Kofi and Larvin.
I don't think appearing as a sub for 5 mins in a pre season friendly qualifies as first team.
Glad the rules on false advertising don't apply to football!
Anyway a good chance to see the future talent at the club.
Hopefully at the end of the season they might get a chance, or if we have injuries and suspensions and need fit bodies on the bench - oh wait.....

Strange post? It's an age restricted competition for U18's. Therefore those playing in it are 1st team players for that age group!
I for one will probably attend as the last time I watched it was great entertainment. Many fans support the theory of home grown players so please turn up and support them

Only a few wins away from the big boys.
Seems like ages ago we hosted Liverpool in a really entertaining 2-2 draw before losing on pens. Elliot Richards scored twice. I remember their keeper being nearly on the 6 yard line when he made the winning save.

I remember a huge beefy blonde haired Molby-esque Scouser dominating their defence....and all the while, it was filmed live for their channel. Which was a new thing at the time. I wonder if their players went on to make their way in the game? |

Kofi Shaw has been mentioned on these pages, Larvin did well in pre season and White is rated.
Maybe DC may make a nostalgic return to see what potential is in the Cheltenham youth team.
Almost guaranteed to see a more attack minded entertaining game at the Mem tonight than last Saturday!
