Gloria knows her stuff. 💪🏼 Were 17th in league one. Just got spanked 4-1 away to a poor side...... And Im in the same boat as Gloria I havnt enjoyed being a gashead this much since Holloways decent couple of years. I just really like the way we play even when we lose. 🤷 The players individually now are so good to watch, win lose or draw. People who work for the club say the atmosphere in and around the squad and the quarters is the best it's ever been and most professional. My only concerns are with the new owners and direction we are heading off the field but on it I'm confident we are in for good times. *** disclaimer Barton out if we lose tomorrow and Saturday *** 😃 |

I'm defo in the minority that enjoy watching good football win, lose or draw. We were winning under GC and it was bloody dire!
Of course it goes without saying if we're getting beat every week and in danger, then I'll change my tune somewhat!

Whichever side of the fence you are on i'm sure most of us can agree the results have to start coming soon. Yes, if we want promotion this season. Maybe I am not aiming high enough, but I would settle for a higher placed finish this year as long as JB stays and we continue to invest in the squad over the summer. There have been a lot of changes and new players can take a while to bed in so if we make progress this season I can see us going higher again next time. |

Have to say I agree with Gloria!
Because Joseph Barton is our manager it does feel a little like a guilty pleasure, but I, and others I chat to have never enjoyed going to the match as much in years and as others say the football is just good on the eye for some reason and the way he has the lads battle for every ball and til the final minute minute just makes you long for the next game.

I think based on the higher quality of players we have brought into what I believe it s a lower quality league one this year, we should be aiming at being around the play offs at the business end of the season. Still plenty of time, I still remember similar arguments around this time in L2 and we all know what happened then. We were arguably playing worse then too. |

At some point we have to evaluate the evidence that is staring us in the face. Hopefully the positive evidence will accumulate on the other side of the balance sheet. At the moment it feels like "Qualified Accounts" from the auditors (us). |
