Dave, honest, part of me does it because I know I will get a rise out of it and I sat back for so long from this forum seeing people defend him, I went to come back on so many times. But this is the truth, I was incensed and furious after the Peterborough game when he publicly destroyed Luke Thomas, someone has suffered with mental health issues, so much so he was signed off work………….I was ranting about it to a fellow fan, he doesn’t post on here but he said on good authority that the new owners were reading the forum. And this was the trigger for me to return on October 2nd. I think I hit 244 posts in that time when I took the call on the M25 that it was rumoured he had been sacked. When the official call came in again, I felt like Maverick doing a fly past the tower when the bloke spills his coffee all over his top and says “God damn that sun of a bitch!!!!” Now of course I don’t think I got him the sack, but if I played my part, just 0.00000000001% I am happy. Some might say I’m sadistic, I wasn’t bothered about him being out of a job with a family, he had already tweeted a picture of his Rolex watch and publicly said he was a millionaire. And hands up, I got a little addicted to be back on here and rinsing Barton, maybe I need the tablets! You got what you wanted - maybe try and forget about him now! Much healthier 🤗💙💙💙💙Utg |

Given he was effectively working for us for nothing, which wasn't a problem as he's an incredibly wealthy individual, it seems strange if he didn't believe in the project he was so charitable towards

Can confirm that it is indeed posted on his story. Maybe had a fall out with Wael towards the end? He did thank Wael in his exit message. If anything I imagine it could be directed at the new ownership... If I'm honest I'm struggling to understand the decision making and the direction the club are going in. |

If anything I think its about the new owners. Either way, its a load of tripe. Barton's aim was Prem, that was never going to happen and anyone who believed that with him is living with the fairies. The Champ is absolutely possible. If Barton wasn't sacked, I very much doubt he was resigning because he didn't feel we had the ability to reach the Champ/Prem. Sour grapes as far as i'm concerned |

I thought after his lovely first message after the sacking he had redeemed himself but now not sure. |

Personally I don’t see any real nasty vitriol between us, a bit of back and forth, some banter, very much like America where some are just blindly convinced Trump is the man and Barton on here.
We’ve seen another thread where I posted the NHS advice on obesity flatly denied as 99% are fat because of themselves, it’s the sort of thing Trump would say. And then when I think it was Gasdust who shared a Barton social media which was him, in true Trump style, it was classed as Fake News and genuinely some will believe this now, classic Trump move!
Again personally, I won’t post on this thread again until it’s bumped with perhaps a Barton interview or dig on social media.
Make Rovers Great Again………….I am fully behind it, just with a new manager, in Holden we trust 😂👍
