Only one decent Manager on that list and he is the elder statesman but has recently said he is ready for another club.

Was Nathan Jones the one who went on a bizarre ego trip at Southampton after leaving Luton? That's the one. His interviews were far more bizarre than anything we've heard here. Had religious tattoos all over quoting scripture as the reason but others then quoted the old testament where tattoos were called 'Sinful'.He was a bit weird at Stoke.Defo a 'NO'. Christianity. Some Christians take issue with tattooing, upholding the Hebrew prohibition. The Hebrew prohibition is based on interpreting Leviticus 19:28—"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you"—so as to prohibit tattoos.

I'd be going all out for John Eustace.
Firstly hes availabe on a free. Secondly, excellent record at Kidderminster where they were dubbed the "Barcelona of non-league" getting them into the play offs twice and to the FA cup 1st round. Thirdly, transformed Birmingham last year and has worked with some top flight managers as their assistant.
Downside is his stock is a bit high due to his Birmingham exploits and we're a league lower but its exactly the sort of appointment we should be going after.
Cant see past a better candidate at the moment.

isnt Paul Cook mates with JB, feels like that would be a bit odd.
Eustace would be good, dont think its too high either. Birmingham to Bristol isnt too far and to be honest there arent many decent manager jobs that come up. He knows he'd be backed and I think would make a real go of it with us.

If we’re feeling ambitious, look at Eustace. Very wrongly sacked after overachieving at Birmingham

Personally wouldn’t be shocked to see the owners go completely left field and hire someone we’ve never heard of.
Whos the next Kieran McKenna or Neil Critchley?

Was Nathan Jones the one who went on a bizarre ego trip at Southampton after leaving Luton? It was a bizarre appointment to be honest to appoint an unproven manager at that level half way through the season for a struggling team. He was a massive success for Luton though and played good football.

Could we tempt Chris Wilder? Potential at the club is more than it has been for quite some time.

Would Gary Rowett be worth a go? He left Millwall by "mutual consent", so may not be looking for work.
He gets teams scoring without necessarily having much possession. Combine our possession with that knack and it's BRFC 7 Northampton 0. 🏴☠️🤡
