Would Gary Rowett be worth a go? He.left Millwall by "mutual consent", so may not be looking for work. He gets teams scoring without necessarily having much possession. Combine our possession with that knack and it's BRFC 7 Northampton 0. 🏴☠️🤡 Seems to get plenty of TV work so if he wants to be closer to home too like someone suggested then prob not a good fit.

Chris Wilder, yes please
Has a good record at this level
He'll get a tune out of these players to be sure.
John Eustace certainly fits the bill as well.

Personally wouldn’t be shocked to see the owners go completely left field and hire someone we’ve never heard of. Whos the next Kieran McKenna or Neil Critchley? Can see that too. Someone from abroad who has never managed in England before. Sometimes those appointments work, sometimes they fail miserably!

Whoever comes in will tell us a lot about the now ownership of the club…
I sense they will make a statement appointment.

When was the last time Warnock managed in League One? I can't see him having much interest in us.

How the hell is Garner on the list. My cat has more chance of becoming our manager. It happens every time a lower league manager gets sacked. They just put a bunch of generic names & previous managers. Tisdale is on the list too! The only surprise is not seeing Holloway higher up the list! These lists mean absolutely nothing to clubs at our level!

Kevin Phillips would be worth an outside punt did amazing at South Shields untested at this level but he would bring a lot of experience on the field as well as a lot of contacts. Plus he's highly respected by a lot of people

Just not Karl Robinson please, would be going from one whiney scouser to another, can't stand the bloke. Tbh none of the names linked excite me, not many with great recent records. Eustace would be nice but realistically i would take someone like Cotterill, who's got links to the area and would steady the ship, whoever it is i think we need to make a decision fairly quickly or we could find ourselves in trouble.

Remember how the City scores got shown on our old scoreboard during the games, was loads of fun as they lost almost every week!
