QPR have just sacked Ainsworth. We could do worse than ask him if he is keen though I wonder if he is a one trick pony. I’d take Ainsworth. With our squad and investment levels he might try something other than hoofball and dark arts.

End of the day, its the new money that’s come in. Same as any other club, Birmingham City classic example. If we are lucky we will get a manager like Phill brown that’s prepared to drop a few leagues, or a Troy that thinks it’s a plan to play at a lower level. To think we are in the Championship managers, is laughable. TBF I have always been in the JB camp. But I am really struggling to think of a manager that can move us on. Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, we are a club that isn’t quite a temptation for a big name with no managerial kudos. Or go down the route of Tisdale, Garner. Big call this one, who is attracted to BRFC. Journey men managers always around this level. Managers that put a great PowerPoint presentation together. No idea, we are a confused club at the moment for a manager. Just hope we get it right. Hope you mean "unlucky" with regards to Phil Brown?? 😗😗 Would rather have Roy Chubby Brown

I think my original suggestion, Leam Richardson fits the criteria the owners are looking for. Young, full of ideas. Promoted from this league. Experience in the championship.

I don't like ainsworths style of football but as a man I think he's fantastic. I'd much rather take him over cotterill. Wouldn't be my first choice though

Paul Hurst sacked by Grimsby. What a strange career he's had. Great job at Grimsby the first time round then incredible at Shrewsbury. Then he went to Ipswich and went full speed into reverse from there

Saw that at the time. So cringeworthy.

Prefer to have no managers than one of the failures on the current list

Next Manager Odds Karl Robinson Previous Team: Oxford United Departed: 26.02.23 4/1 Danny Cowley Previous Team: Portsmouth Departed: 02.01.23 6/1 Steve Cotterill Previous Team: Shrewsbury Town Departed: 06.06.23 8/1 Leam Richardson Previous Team: Wigan Athletic Departed: 10.11.22 8/1 Nathan Jones Previous Team: Southampton Departed: 12.02.23 8/1 Lee Bowyer Previous Team: Birmingham City Departed: 02.07.22 10/1 David Artell Previous Team: Crewe Alexandra Departed: 11.04.22 12/1 Dean Holden Previous Team: Charlton Athletic Departed: 27.08.23 12/1 Andy Mangan 12/1 Graham Alexander Previous Team: Milton Keynes Dons Departed: 16.10.23 14/1 Ian Holloway Previous Team: Grimsby Town Departed: 23.12.20 14/1 Gary Bowyer Previous Team: Dundee Departed: 10.05.23 16/1 Mark Cooper Current Team: Yeovil Town Appointed: 28.10.22 16/1 Neil Harris Previous Team: Gillingham Departed: 05.10.23 16/1 Neil Warnock Previous Team: Huddersfield Town Departed: 20.09.23 16/1 Ben Garner 😱 Previous Team: Colchester United Departed: 21.10.23 16/1 Good grief, what a thoroughly bang-average list that is, Colin excepted.
I'd take Colin in a heartbeat - he'd be the absolute fit. But it'd be a one, maybe two season job.
Ainsworth? Maybe.
Hurst? Get tae f**k.
Rowett is the Baldrick of management, always has a cunning plan and always gets sacked pretty quick

If it was ever a choice between those two, I’d just let the players sort themselves out each week. Don’t think we’ll be looking at either, thankfully.

Is John Coleman a possibility? Contract runs out end of the season and he has worked with at least Andy Mangan and Sam Finley at Accy.
