Bristol live reporting Holden's been interviewed. Absolutely no way for me that. Awful record and doesn't fit any of the criteria. I suppose you have to interview a few extra's to make up the numbers and make the inerview process look fair. Not far for him to travel to be told he hasn't got the job I suppose. |

I would be disappointed to say the least if Cotterill or Holden are appointed.

Cotterell or Holden and they can have my season ticket back. Sooner see garnerball again. Cotterill would be a huge slap in the face for the fans - total twat and his football is tripe. Holden is a nice bloke but would seriously confirm our new ownership are clueless about the footie side of the business. Pivotal moment for the club and I have so little confidence in the Senior Leadership team to get this right. |

Agree with the last few, may as well have stuck with JB if Holden is the next pick.
Would give the bloke a chance but he’s right up there on the uninspiring list.

If the criteria off the new owners is a manager who has had success in league 1, from the online betting odds list it should be either Garry Monk or Leam Richardson.
Richardson recently guided Wigan athletic to the league 1 tittle in 21/22 season & was voted league 1 manager of the year , the club even named a stand after him.
Please not Holden or Cotterill, let’s try & not split the fan base again.

I'm not sure why you'd waste your time to be honest. Did an awful job at Charlton on a bigger budget than he'd have here I'd imagine. Got sacked from the Ted's for being useless as well. Doesn't fit any of the criteria the owner set out for a new manager and hasn't been successful at any managerial job yet. 🤷 |

Holden also reported to being on Bradford city’s list.
Quite happy to drive him there if a few on here help with the petrol costs!

I’m confident he won’t get the gig as he’s probably just applied for the job and had an interview , our company will interview x amount of candidates even though they know that they won’t be offering the position. I’ll put my ( small amount of faith left ) in the owners to get this appointment right , they really can’t afford to get this wrong because the fanbase was badly split over Barton to begin with.

We have apparently spoken to other people as well so don't get too worked up people.
People worried the owners "Don't know anything", but not a bad thing to speak to a few people and not just jump in because X is available.
Holden wouldn't ne inspiring and doesn't particularly fit the criteria, but talking to anyone can't hurt.
Whomever we end up with will disappoint a few people, I guess try and disappoint as few people as possible at the end of the day

Calm down. It wont be Holden. They'd be better off seeing what Mangan/Wheelan can do. I really hope we give Mangan and Whelan a few games at least. We could really do with continuity and stability. If they do well, give them the job. I'd rather that than hire someone like Holden who has proven to be a failure in both managerial posts he has held. |

No way do I want him to be our manager when there are bound to be better options out there but what I will see about him is that his record while not amazing if certainly not the worst I have seen.
Win percentage of 44.2% at City which is close to what GC had here with us and to be fair to him that was in the championship.
Charlton its 37.5%.
When we went in to Charlton they were 18th at the end of December and they finished 10th.
This season not very good but if you look at his time at Charlton it was during the takeover and alot of stuff going off the pitch.
Still think this has come out with a leak from the club to make fans more happy with the person they actually plan to appoint in the end.
