I do wish the super fans would be a little more sympathetic to the casuals. Pretty sure GGMI was a long time ST holder who has recently started a new family. Not everyone is able to get to every game for a lot of different reasons. Would be lovely if we could stop attacking one another for a bit. Absolutely agree with this. Weirdly though, I used to be a very regular poster on here, I stopped posting for about a year or so... BECAUSE of GGMI's constant attacks on anything I said? Shows what a state we are in when we long for the days when GGMI was the biggest knobhead on the forum.

All sorts always end up in the crowd when the vacancy opens up.
Thing is this is quite the ordinary it’s just normally nobody pays any attention to it!
Most of them won’t even be in the reckoning for it.

If your such a Rovers fan why can't you spot them yourself ? If its true you don't go and watch the club -- Why the interest anyway ? Did you stop going because of JB ? was it earlier you stopped going ? or have you never been ? I'm simply interested on why someone who never goes is very interested in the clubs afairs. I do wish the super fans would be a little more sympathetic to the casuals. Pretty sure GGMI was a long time ST holder who has recently started a new family. Not everyone is able to get to every game for a lot of different reasons. Would be lovely if we could stop attacking one another for a bit. This is spot on. Nothing to do with Joey Barton why I stopped going. I love Rovers but you can be so caught in it sometimes that you forget there is a life outside of the club we all love. I made the conscious decision to give up my season ticket 4 years ago when having my first born. (I have another since). I live the other side of Bristol, and wanted to make sure I invest as much energy, time and effort into my children as possible so they can be the best they can be. I still watch on ifollow etc and do want to get to a game soon but if I can't then so be it. Bristol Rovers will always be a part of my life, but they are just that now, a part. Don't worry my girls will be brought up the right way to be Gasheads, I don't think they will quite reach the elite super status but they will be fans. Maybe one day I will get a season ticket again but I can't see it in the near future. UTG! ❤️

Saw Pep on Football Focus earlier… but no Eddie Howe 🕵️♀️ Maybe down the Mem, with Elliott Anderson in the passenger seat? Keep your eye’s peeled!

People seem to think that because they are older and have been watching for many years, there opinion is more important and we should all bow to tgere superior knowledge. I rarely go these days because i live 2 hours away and have a young family. From the age of 12 i had a season ticket and would get the train (by myself) to every home game. Does this give me entitlement to superfan respect? Or am i now not a real gashead??

In terms of prospective managers attending the game this is definitely a thing.
I sat next to a bald manager, Russell Slade I think his name is after Buckle was sacked.
I didn't want him at the time so told him Joe Anyinsah was our star player, Adam Virgo was our rock at the back and Scott Bevan was a lower league Schmeichel. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at his interview.
Hopefully whoever sits next to Holden or Cotterill can feed them a load of wrong information. Trouble is we don't really have any spanners in the squad now to stitch them up with.
