In other news, Newport lost to the Hammers youth in our EFL Trophy group last night so (I think) this means we only need a draw at their place on November 14th to qualify for the knockout phase. Great news . Don't book your trains just yet though - if Whitby hold us to a draw in the FA Cup we'll likely be heading north instead of west and the Newport game will have to wait.

There are no draws. So we need. A draw and pen win or a win I think. Lose on pens and Newport progress

Will fans actually go on a train to Newport for a EFL clash ?. no I'm washing my hair that night Yep that's a good enough excuse . Any other reasons fans will not use the train on a wet Tuesday night for a EFL game ?

As long as Whitby don’t do a Boreham Wood on us😜 Whoever starts for us the tactic should be the very same, pass them off the park, spread it wide, make them run. Keep ball stuff, no matter how much they bellow “get it up thereeeee” from the terraces. They’ll be done by the hour.

Who was the non league team we stuffed in the FA Cup at their place live on TV? Their gaffer was a smug arrogant piece of work, harking on pre match how we are struggling and not much cop & they’ll be pulling off the big shock. 13mins - Totts 0 - 3 Gas I’m sure one of their bench tripped up Muzzy when he skinned another one of their lads down the line. Also the last chance Ben swallow was ever given off the bench & he used it by getting a straight red card. Doubt he ever played professionally after that. Idiot.
