Just watched the highlights, Luke Thomas looked very good, seemed to be involved in everything Good to see him back from injury , I think he’s been our best player this season. He ran them ragged today which wasn’t a surprise considering they’re 7th tier but he’s capable of doing that to league 1 sides too. Similar to the Northampton performance today in that it was a basic 442 and when we moved the ball quickly we looked so good and fluid and when we moved it slowly we rarely had options and looked to pass it backwards and sideways. If mangan / Whelan can pick up 3 points on Tuesday I’d offer a contract until the end of the season and review it then. They’re unbeaten in 5 games including the first 3 of the season. If it isn’t broken don’t fix it. |

I predicted 5-0, still won by a 5 goal margin, I'll take that!
I thought that was a thoroughly entertaining game today.
I thought the ref was excellent, he let the game flow and wasn't blowing for every innocuous bit of contact.
Fair play to Whitby, they scored 2 away from home and gave everything they had.
All our players were at it today, when everybody is this is what professionals do to Amateurs.
Thought Luke Thomas was excellent, he's been brilliant all season tbf, but today he just had that arrogance and you can tell he was just enjoying himself.
Thoroughly professional performance from us today.
Onto Reading.

Lovely stuff. I spotted that Marquis ran to celebrate with Mangs after the first goal. Beat Reading Tuesday and we could have a new manager by Thursday Looked a bit contrived and cringeworthy to me. |

Completely agree, when we moved the ball quickly they really struggled to live with us, granted as a 7th tier side that was understandable but it was noticeable how much more comfortable they were when we played at a slower tempo. There are obviously going to be times when we have to slow the game down but when you have players like Thomas Brown Vale Collins Evans Marquis Sinclair & Martin at the front of your side play to their strengths. Comfortably through lovely to see the young lad get on as well. Fingers crossed for a favourable draw tomorrow |

Thought Whitby really gave a good go, fair play to them. Watching them warm up, it was clear they could finish and both their goals were sublime.
Good fun though, could easily have been 11-2 tbh. Defence is still too shaky but hopefully Bond will sort that out. Onto the next round
