Still haunts me that game. The only game EVER I left with 5 mins to go. Shocking.
We just never matched them physically and got what we deserved.

Whitby have some players with decent pedigree. Alfie Doherty (ex Middlesbrough youth midfielder), Priestley Griffiths (ex Middlesbrough and England youth midfielder), Junior Mondal (ex Middlesbrough youth forward), Harrison Beeden (ex Rotherham youth defender), Jacob Gratton (ex Rotherham youth forward), Bradley Fewster (Ex Middlesbrough and England youth forward), Connor Simpson (6ft 5in ex Hartlepool and Preston CF). It’s live on Viaplay Random fact but I believe Jacob Gratton is the boyfriend of Mr Coughlans daughter. Remember when he was gaffer the pair would interact with Rovers fans on Twitter. |

I don’t think we should underestimate them, we don’t keep many clean sheets and Whitby have scored in every away game this season. Look at how tough it was for Barnsley last night

Ive watched a couple of there games online last two cup games .a couple of things stood out ,1 there striker junior is fast and has a good bit of skill in his locker ,2 they use a long throwing into the box,3 there weak link i think is there goalie ,a bit overweight and doe,s not look very tall ,weak on crosses

In normal circumstances we might expect a changed squad for this game.
However,if AM is seriously wanting the manager job he will want a cv of wins.
A defeat against Whitby essentially ends his chances of the permanent gig.

It’s a strange thing to play against underdogs, you know you need to be at the top of your game and keep saying it, but regularly teams just don’t on the pitch. That said an early goal will hopefully settle us in for a good win . Enjoy everyone 👍🏾
