Should of been 2 nil. Can anyone honestly say we are a potentially top 6 side ? could be if we put winning football matches above having possession with our backs to goal. What a complete and utter sh**e 45 minutes. It’s like we’ve got Barton back so far. The only time we’ve played well this season is when we’ve played with a high tempo, this team cannot play Tika taka slow possession based football. Dreadful. |

Both centre mids struggling. Finley with 99% of his passing and Woods taking far too long on too many occasions, not just the goal. Need to come out all guns blazing 2nd half as Reading aren’t great and have just been less crap than us.

The main issue is Finley and Woods both far too deep and struggling. Early in match AC should have squared it for Martin.

Unbelievable. You've given him less than 2 weeks, and this game has barely begun. Just think many have been getting too carried away after 2 easy fixtures. I doubt this fixture is much harder as Reading looked poor until we gifted them a goal. Perhaps the players don't want Manger as manager or have heard he's not getting the job, as apart from Collins and Taylor nobody really seems up for the game. |

As soon as I saw the lineup I had my concerns tbh. Apart from 442 formation, it screamed of Barton and from what I’ve seen, it looks the exact same too.
Couple of changes at half time and hopefully we’ll be back on track. Need to really attack reading from the get go, grab a goal and they’ll crumble

If ever we needed proof that Evans is vital, we've got it this half. Stupid 5 bookings and suspension rule! Disappointed with Wilson and Woods in particular. Don't think the tennis ball delay helped as we were well on top until that stoppage.

Were doing ok until the twats threw the balls on the pitch.
To many players dawdling to many wayward passes.
Cox,friend,finley,woods,martin very poor so far.
If Mangan loses at the bottom placed club thats the end of his chance for the job i suspect.
Hopefully we buck up our ideas second half and score a few goals.

Possibly Marquis over Martin but not sure that would have made much difference. |
