The main issue is Finley and Woods both far too deep and struggling. Early in match AC should have squared it for Martin. The whole team is sat too deep. Far to defense minded. |

This is embarrassing and if you did not know better, you would think Barton was still in charge. The team selection is questionable and the performance is dire. Exactly what I feared, big away support and a long Drive back asking yourself why do we bother, at least the fans turned up more than can be said about the Rovers performance so far!! New Manager please - this is simply not good enough, NOW prove me wrong PLEASE!!!

Bogarde for Woods please.. Gibbons for Grant … Marquis for Martin … Come on Andy Mangan - you got this ! Ready Harvey Vale … We should definitely get vale on , preferably for Brown who’s movement is non existent in this game and is generally poor most games so far for us. We seem to have gone back to looking to play it backwards or sideways slowly as a priority over playing the ball forwards in that 45 minutes. Barton was sacked because we dominated possession in games but didn’t do enough with the possession and I would have thought Mangan would recognise that and had recognised that with the way we played v Northampton but tonight it’s back to the same dross unfortunately. Get Vale on and move the ball quickly to him , Thomas and Collins and we can be a match for any side in this division. |

As soon as I saw the lineup I had my concerns tbh. Apart from 442 formation, it screamed of Barton and from what I’ve seen, it looks the exact same too. Couple of changes at half time and hopefully we’ll be back on track. Need to really attack reading from the get go, grab a goal and they’ll crumble Not sure who else could have started with Evans suspended and Sinclair missing? Possibly Marquis over Martin but not sure that would have made much difference. Gibbons, Bogarde & Crama. Even Vale you could argue but I see why he didn’t start him. |

Vale and Big John for Martin and Brown and put Collins in the middle.
Bogarde for Finley.
It's quite easy this management lark.

Poor passing out from Cox, Connor bullied for their goal, passing not sharp enough and Azza should have put Chris Martin in for tap in, fine margins but we re well off it.
Hoping Vale, Marquis and Gibbons will be on second half,

What a bloody awful game. We look too slow in everything we do. Midfield have given the ball away far too easily and there is no teamwork at all. We look like our players havent met before. Woods was dire twice on the goal and this is two god woeful sides.
If we are changing Manager because Joey wasnt good enough then Mangan is no different. The football is the same, the Board got rid of the Manager now get a replacement in before Saturday.
Things look like they can only get better in the second half but this is Rovers!"!

Probably not surprised he hasn’t changed it - don’t think AM has the tough side needed.
