There manager and owner have said quite clearly in public recently that the reason JCH is on the bench is that they want to play with much more pace in the centre, hence the likes of Ricky Jade Jones playing the central role. They want JCH to leave in January and have said that on many occasions. This is why i am not sure he offers so much more than Martin that makes it worth it. Maybe on a free, but not worth paying what Posh want.

If it was around £800k in August surely it will be at least half that now with half a season gone and with it being the last window before his contract expires?

Imagine what he would do in a team that needs and wants him. Far more dangerous player than Martin imo.

MacAnthony on Clarke-Harris: "He’s been unplayable in recent weeks and he’s scoring regularly so his price has gone up again!" What a w**ker joker

JCH won the Golden Boot last season, I doubt he's lost the ability to score just over the summer?

Maybe he could roll the ball out to either full back who in turn could play it down the channel, i believe in trying to play football in your oppositions half instead of p1ss ballsing around with it in our own penalty area. For me the idea is there and we have the players to do it successfully but our application at the best of times is horrendous. See Finley last night, acres of space, receives a rolled out ball from Cox, plays it 10 yards straight to a home shirt who didn’t have a rovers player within 20 yards of him. That particular moment probably received the biggest groan of the night. Up there with Collins shocking excuse for a through ball to JB when we were in for a big chance. We watch the same game and view it the same as well. Finely reminded me of James Hunt last night! I said to my Dad last night, Upson and Abs doing the press at Portman Road under Cogs would have played Finley and Wood off the park and Sercs would walk in this midfield as well with legs.

Quality finishes too. He isn't JCH but he's certainly earning his pay-packet and doing what is needed.

JCH would have either scored or bagged a pen.

JCH and Martin in the same squad. Lets be honest Jevani Brown and Collins arent contributing an awful lot.

Before discussing the individuals need to set our style and formation. For example don't think Evans can play in the middle two in 4 4 2 but can play in the middle of three in 4 2 3 1. This side is crying out for Ward or rossiter. We need some tackle in midfield. Evans is in a 3 or ideally No10. Finley in a 2, but as the creator. He’s got the legs to play in a 2 but he’s not capable of being the tackler, or piano carrier as Holloway put it. McCormick same. We seem bullied out of games in the middle.

What about Bogarde, I don't think he's reached last season's highs but would have preferred him to start last night over Wood or Finely? The playing budget spent on Brown would probably been better spent on an experienced DCM.
