Need to either stop counting loans or call games off earlier. No consideration that people might want to plan their lives - can see it putting people off of buying season tickets.
We all get upset about U21s in Trophy but would argue league fixtures more important to most than u21 internationals.

P iss e d right off with this. There is no need to call off these matches whatsoever. Hoole hasn't even been in the squad recently and the others aren't even our sodding players. Bloody Tuesday night matches are sh**e. Football is a Saturday afternoon sport.

Fans would also get upset if we played games and lost because 3 or more of our star players were missing on international duty?

I do think having a loan keeper means we are keen to call off probably easier to replace outfield players.
In all honesty they are not our star players are they ? We are just developing them for premier teams and the U21 international teams - league teams are now just feeder clubs which so many were upset about ..... Happened by the back door. Limit the number of loans and perhaps premier club would stock pile less players ...

Only in November and already had 3 games called off this season. The EFL need to think of a solution going forward.

Another game where there is a loss of income.

Another game where there is a loss of income. South Stand will be open by the time the rearranged game happens. The new manager being in and hopefully a successful January window might suddenly turn those tickets into hot commodities.

I can't understand why the EFL doesn't just keep international weekends fixture free, as it seems impossible to plan ahead now with so many games being postponed. Could play EFL Trophy games on those days? Im sure most teams wouldnt give a sh** about 'star players' missing them.

Not very happy about this as itβs my 50th birthday on that day and just found out my wife has booked hospitality for me and 5 other people. Anyone know if you can get a refund as another match is not really a option.

Although no obvious reason why league side couldn't play each other in the cup, or would that demean it even further in supporters eyes? I can't see why the EFL don't just move the international weekend fixtures to mid week as we seem to have had plenty of free weeks this season.

As much as its saved me a row with the Mrs, I do agree it's ridiculous. Premiership Rugby carries on during the six nations, County Cricket during test matches, they just play younger lads or squad players.
I think as a minimum they need to up the number of players being called up from 3 to 5 as everyone has the squads to cope with 3 players these days surely

Not happy. When the fixtures came out there were only two Saturday matches this side of Christmas that I could take my son to. Exeter and Fleetwood. Not at all impressed with this. As others have said, crack the f**k on.

The next international after Fleetwood game is on 23 March (home to Reading). They have had call ups on all 3 international dates so far . So, that will be another Saturday game lost. With Gas and Cambridge still in FA cup expect home game against them on Saturday 6 Jan will go and then possibly home game v Oxford on Saturday 27 Jan when 4 round of FA cup is played .
With the high number of Tuesday night home games already programmed, we will end up playing midweek with so many free Saturdays as norm .
