The next international after Fleetwood game is on 23 March (home to Reading). They have had call ups on all 3 international dates so far . So, that will be another Saturday game lost. With Gas and Cambridge still in FA cup expect home game against them on Saturday 6 Jan will go and then possibly home game v Oxford on Saturday 27 Jan when 4 round of FA cup is played . With the high number of Tuesday night home games already programmed, we will end up playing midweek with so many free Saturdays as norm . FFS, Unless this changes I wont bother with a season ticket next year. With the south stand seats meaning i am less likely to be able to sell my seat on exchange also, just not worth it.

If Reading, Cambridge and Oxford games get moved to a Tuesday , then we would have played just 11 home games out of 23 only on a Saturday this season . (Unless more go due to bad winter weather).
There are 4 international weekends in a season and FA Cup 3&4 rounds . We were scheduled for home games on 5 of these 6 Saturdays . If EFL do not want go down not scheduling games on international dates , then at least make it 2 Saturday games for each team and just one of the FA cup dates each ie max loss of 3 home Saturday games per team

Agree with comments about the games being cancelled because of the 'International break.' You buy a season ticket, organise the diary taking account of family and other commitments and it all goes to pot on the off chance that someone somewhere might get selected for an international squad somewhere on the planet we've never heard of. It's more than a joke, it's exploitation of the good will of fans who try and remain loyal despite all the crap thrown at them. Evening games are no joke. Was at Reading on Tuesday which is hardly a million miles away but with the diversion on the M4 didn't get home to Bristol until 12.30am. 8 pm KO didn't help either. And don't get me started on the 5.70 for a pie and all the idiots (sorry, 'fans') who decided to crowd themselves together and stand for the whole match right in front of me so I had to stand as well. It's not a case of 'it's what we do' it's dangerous but as usual stewards don't get involved and if you ask anyone to sit down all you get is abuse - from fellow gasheads!

Also, we have a home game scheduled (6 April) for the weekend of the final of the Bristle Trophy against Bolton (holders). So, if either of us get to that . Out of 39 Saturdays of the season, we could potentially be playing home games on just 10 Saturdays if the home Reading game on 23 March (international weekend), home Cambridge game 6 Jan (FA cup) and home Oxford game 27 Jan (FA cup) also get postponed.

It’s also costing clubs a lot of money.BRFC attendance are generally around 1k down for a midweek game compared to a Saturday and I would imagine that applies to the vast majority of league 1 and 2 clubs.

They will also now be losing any chance of getting Sky TV money as L1 & L2 were regularly shown during the International breaks? Not really sure what the solution given it's FIFA or UFFA rules that games can be postponed due to international call ups. As somebody else suggested perhaps the EFL should ensure all clubs suffer equally and make it a maximum of 2 home games classing with the International break weekends. It's all a bit mad when the EFL were apparently trying to move away from mid week matches because they are poorly supported!
