It's thier big center back Cashin we need to be fearful of, wins most things in both boxes. They score lots from his knockdowns, he's not the quickest so hopefully Collins can give him the runaround. |

Nervous about our midfield - time will tell.

No Thomas ? Hes been our best player this season Weird. He'd be in my starting 11 all day long. I think he’s better starting whilst vale tends to offer more from the bench last 20 mins but I guess we haven’t seen them all week in training so got to give Mangs benefit of the doubt. Vale probably works harder defensively too tbf. |

I’m worried that midfield will look to play the kind of slow patient laborious football that Barton played and we did v reading also. Hope I’m wrong. I think we need to play the ball quickly today get it in to their half with vale , Collins and Evans on the ball, play our football in their half. |

Bogarde a big miss today, covers more ground and quicker to close down than our other midfielders.
