Reflecting after Saturday ....
Good Game with both teams going for the win ... physical and both sets of players fully committed.
Yes there were mistakes but I can live with that. All in all I felt Derby shaded it just.
So now on to Tuesday - Looking forward to getting back to the Mem.
Hoping / Expecting to see some personnel changes -
Cox was excellent again yesterday and is one of the first names on the team sheet for me.
Hunt I don't think is quite fully fit but again inked in.
Taylor and Crama as Centre backs - Left back is a tough one Friend probably just ahead of Grant?
Midfield - Ward and Finley ( thought both did well on Saturday and Finley was my MOM which I am delighted to be able to type again). Evans is another definite and again is much improved now. Would try and find something for Bogarde somehow ?
LT is a must start - and then it comes down to a shoot out between Vale and Sinclair / Collins
Up front is the real issue ... Collins adds pace but not much else / Martin knows where the net is but is slow and Brown adds something occasionally ?

Isn't it time Collins was dropped off only to show him that he's not unstoppable?
I can't understand why Thomas regularly played at No 10 for Barnsley but always plays for us on the wing.

Definitely works for me ....
My one frustration with Lamar this season is that he seems to take 20 minutes to get into a game - poor touches / passing then he seems to up a gear and does his thing. I like him a lot and with Ward alongside him he could shine.

But what I have noticed with him is he does struggle to play 2 games in quick succession and when he does you usually find him off the boil. He just doesn't seem to be able to string 2 good performances in a row anymore. I presume bogarde was Injured Saturday so Finley might have to play Tuesday ? |

Had a think on this, whilst I still think Collins is one of our most dangerous players, I agree a drop to the bench is worth a go with the talent we have. We need to get someone alongside Martin to get some tap ins. I've gone with Vale, but Marquis or Brown could be there with Vale moving to left wing

Been a problem area for us for a good while. Need a solid and quick left back as a priority signing in Jan It’s almost there with Cox Taylor Wilson Hunt Get the midfield dynamics right, get in a young hungry lightning quick forward to give us a plan B and we’re good to go Might write to the owners, I reckon I could get this lot promoted with 2 more signings. And I’m bloody cheap. UTG |
