One of the reasons for the delay in appointment, the club are stating that the new manager has to have Mangan as the assistant.
The person in question was told 2 weeks ago, mangan had to lose 2 games and the job was theirs on the proviso Mangan stayed.

The new owners will appoint pep but he has to accept they will pick 5 of the 11 starters.
They also get to call one sub per game.
Pep will need to take the title “mangans number 2”

I know a family member very well of the candidate.
To the point I thought twice about posting as don’t really get anything for it apart from risking trust.
That person is now no longer interested in the post so I’m not as concerned.
They were odds on favourite at one point and down to the last 2.

Player power dictating boardroom decisions is never a good look and we've seen that somewhere before under Penney. Anyway, 16 of the squad are either out-of-contract at end of season or on loan. This is where you need strong leadership and to stick to your vision and plan. Gulp. Sigh. |

Those same players underperforming have got the manager they all seemed to love the sack. The situation needs sorting tomorrow.
