Just wanted to give my best wishes to forum member Kevin Godlington aka southwalesgas.
Kevin went under the knife last week to have a cancerous tumour removed.
Unfortunately the surgeon was unable to remove it because of how it was positioned.
Kevin remains in good spirits and is having a consultation on Wednesday to learn the best way forward.
I know some of you on here have some experience of this kind of thing so maybe you have some words of support and encouragement?
On a positive note whilst under the knife Kevin got 2 scars for the price of one as the surgeon fixed his hernia!

Good luck mate. Went through the whole cancer scare thing earlier this year. Amazing what they can do now so truly hope it will all be ok.
Don’t know you ( but probably recognize you as I’ve been watching since the early 1970’s), but keep fighting and updating us on here if you feel like it.

I'm good friends with Kev and the other Gas living in Wales who come over with him for home games.
We all usually meet at The Civil Service Club for a pint and a catch up.
I'm in contact with him, top lad is Kev and still in remarkably good spirits.
